Sometimes you will never know the value of something, until it becomes a memory. ― Dr. Seuss

With a new baby, there is no better time to start new traditions.  The leaps your baby makes the first year is  mind boggling. They will go from being completely dependent on you to looking for ways to claim their own independence. Sometime’s it will be a small build up, and other’s it will be seemingly out know where. The joy that our children bring to our life is unlike any other. It’s easy for time to slip past us and the next thing we know our baby’s are grown. Take the occasional moment or two out of your day to keep memories.  Write them down or snap a photo.  Even the smallest of things can mean so much when you look back on them. Remember, these don’t have to be perfect, they can be, but they don’t have to be. If you get joy in the process of creating perfection, by all means, do so. However, don’t let the process of perfect stop you from the thing that’s most important: the value of the memory.
